Dead by Daylight players are experiencing frustrating errors related to the Bloodweb progression system and Rift Challenges. The game’s developer, Behaviour Interactive, has acknowledged the issue and is working to resolve it.
The errors appear to be widespread, affecting players across multiple platforms. Users report being unable to level up characters through the Bloodweb, experiencing frequent disconnects, and failing to receive rewards for completed Rift Challenges.
One player described the situation on 𝕏: “Can’t believe that a Feng Min skin release is making the Dead by Daylight bloodweb glitch me out of the game.” Another lamented, “I was trying to upgrade a killer in the bloodweb and was kicked off the server 5 times within 7 minutes.”
The issues seem to have coincided with the release of a new Tome section and the 2v8 game mode. Some players speculate that these additions may have contributed to the current instability.
Behaviour Interactive addressed the situation on their official 𝕏 account (@DeadbyDaylight), stating: “We are aware that some players are receiving errors connected with the Bloodweb or redeeming Rift Challenges at the moment. Our team is working with our Partners to resolve the issue. We apologise for the inconvenience.”
While the developers work on a fix, some players have suggested potential workarounds, such as buying an item and restarting the game or logging out and back in to see progression updates.
The Dead by Daylight community is calling for compensation once the issues are resolved, with suggestions ranging from Bloodpoints to Rift fragments.
As frustrations mount, players are urging Behaviour Interactive to prioritize stability and bug fixes over new content. One user wrote, “Please. No more modes. No more events. Take servers down for a week and fix the damn code!”
For now, Dead by Daylight players will have to exercise patience as they await a resolution to these errors.
