Samsung fans have been waiting longer than expected, but the stable One UI 7.0 update is apparently finally rolling out for the Galaxy S24 series. The company first hinted at a Q1 release earlier this year, which would’ve wrapped up by March. Later, they pushed it to April, sparking some confusion. Since April kicks off Q2, it felt like a delay. Still, Samsung has stuck close to their original timeline, and the update is now hitting devices (at least the S24 Ultra).
Popular tipster Tarun Vats hinted at the release with a post on X, under which another user shared a screenshot of the update information screen, claiming that the stable build is out for the S24 Ultra.
This rollout brings Android 15 to the Galaxy S24 series, complete with the March 1, 2025, security patch. The update weighs in at a hefty 5.24 GB, so make sure your phone has enough space and a solid Wi-Fi connection before downloading. You can spot it by the version number S928USQU4BYBI in the US on Galaxy S24 Ultra models. It seems to be rolling out gradually since I haven’t been able to spot many reports about the release at the time of this writing. If you’re impatient, head to your settings and check for updates manually.
