Google Search just got a fun new Easter egg inspired by the hit Netflix series Squid Game. This time, you can try your luck in the famous “Red Light, Green Light” challenge from the show’s first season.
To play, simply search for “Squid Game” on Google using your phone or computer. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a pop-up with the iconic invitation card featuring a circle, triangle, and square. Clicking on it kicks off the game.
The rules are simple but tricky. Your goal is to move six players across the finish line without getting caught by the doll. You have two buttons to control the movement: a blue circle to go and a red cross to stop. Timing is everything. If you don’t stop in time before the doll turns back, one of your players is eliminated. Keep all six safe to win the game.
For fans of the show, here’s a cool detail: the doll, named Young-hee, recites a Korean phrase that translates to “The Mugungha Flower has bloomed.” It’s a fun nod to the original scene.
