Players diving into Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are running into game-breaking bugs, with the whip and camera being at the center of the complaints. Across forums like Steam and Reddit, fans have shared stories of frustration, describing how these essential tools suddenly stop working mid-game.

For many, the whip simply becomes unresponsive. One player on Steam noted that pressing the R1 button on their controller did nothing. After trying multiple fixes, they resorted to rolling back to an earlier save, which temporarily solved the issue. Others weren’t so lucky. Some players reported that even reloading saves didn’t help, leaving them stuck and unable to progress.

One Redditor described being unable to use the whip after loading a save made shortly after acquiring the camera. “Now I’m further in the game and can’t use my whip. Restoring an old save slot doesn’t even help. What the hell,” they wrote. Another user reported the same issue, noting that they were soft-locked with no viable fixes.
