Hundreds of Redditors, including our team members, aren’t able to access Reddit. When trying to load the page, users are getting the following error message stating, “upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: connection termination.”
The issue seems to be affecting both desktop and mobile platforms, with reports pouring in of connection errors and failed page loads. This technical message points to potential server issues on Reddit’s end, causing disruptions in connectivity. As of now, Reddit has not provided an official statement about the outage.
Many users who’ve noticed the issue have taken to other platforms like X to vent their frustrations and check if others are facing the same problem. Posts claiming Reddit is down have started popping up almost every minute.
Outage monitoring sites such as IsDown.app have flagged the disruption, confirming that the problem isn’t isolated. The surge of reports suggests a significant server issue, impacting users worldwide.
