Update 29/11/24 02:18 pm (IST): Supercell has rolled out a new update for CoC, however, there’s some bad news. While the update addresses multiple bugs, the issue with training potions hasn’t been fixed.

Responding to a comment about the training potions bug, Supercell (via the official Clash of Clans account on X) said “We’re still working on it. It’s much more complicated than it seems, and we’re sorry about that.”

Original article published on November 27, 2024, follows:

Supercell is addressing a frustrating bug in Clash of Clans that players have noticed after the latest update. Training Potions, which are supposed to speed up the recovery of Heroes’ Hearts, are no longer working as intended. This issue has left many players unable to use their Heroes effectively during battles, even with a fully trained army.

The problem has sparked numerous complaints across Reddit and X. One user on the Clash of Clans subreddit wrote, “The potion would have no use. I can’t use my army without my Heroes.” Another commented, “Please don’t tell me that Training Potions no longer affect hero regeneration.” These posts quickly gained traction, with players expressing frustration about wasted potions and disrupted gameplay strategies.

Supercell has acknowledged the issue on X, confirming it as a bug. In their post, they mentioned, “Training Potion not boosting Heroes’ recovery time. The team is investigating these, we will keep you posted!” This official confirmation has provided some relief, though players are eagerly awaiting a fix. Supercell’s response on Reddit also reiterated their awareness, saying, “That’s a bug, and we’re working on it.”

The Training Potion bug isn’t the only hiccup with the recent update. Supercell is also tackling other issues, such as crashes when placing the new Hero Hall, the Town Hall 17 icon not displaying correctly on the War Map, and visual glitches with the new Giga Bomb. While these bugs are being addressed, players have been vocal about the impact on their gameplay experience, with some even calling for compensation for wasted resources.

For now, you will need to sit tight as Supercell works on a patch. Players are hoping the fix will roll out soon, especially as the bug significantly affects their ability to raid and farm resources effectively. Until then, the Training Potion remains a less-than-useful item in their inventories.
