If you’ve been scouring eBay for sports cards and found yourself knee-deep in plant seeds, old VHS tapes, and other random goodies, you’re not alone. The eBay search engine is not working, and it’s affecting a ton of users, particularly those on iOS devices. This doesn’t completely exonerate Android users, though.

Users are reporting a slew of issues, from irrelevant search results to completely broken searches. Instead of finding that rare collectible or vintage treasure, many users are being bombarded with a million and one unrelated items. It’s as if eBay’s search engine has decided to take a vacation and left its mischievous little sibling in charge.

The good news is that eBay is aware search is not working on the mobile app and their tech wizards are hard at work to fix it.

It appears that the glitch has taken over eBay’s search function, especially on the latest 6.168.0.2 version of the iOS app. Android users with the latest version 6.168.0.1 and those using the mobile browser seem to be sailing smoothly. “The Android version of the app seems to be producing reasonable search results for me, and searching using a mobile browser works as well,” one user pointed out. Another Android user had to clear the app’s cache and data to get search to work properly.

In the meantime, support recommends switching to the Chrome browser as a temporary workaround until a permanent fix arrives.
