Samsung users, your Quick Panel prayers have seemingly been answered. If you’ve updated to One UI 7 and found yourself playing a frustrating game of hide-and-seek with your Quick Panel icons, you’re definitely not alone.

The issue appears to be hitting users across different Samsung devices, though Galaxy Z Fold users seem to be experiencing it more frequently. The bug typically kicks in when users pull down the notification shade to access their quick settings, only to find that some or all of their carefully arranged toggle icons have mysteriously disappeared.

According to reports from Samsung’s Korean community forums, the problem becomes particularly noticeable on foldable devices when switching between the main display orientations. Users describe scenarios where folding their device, turning off the screen, and then turning it back on triggers the vanishing act. What should be a simple swipe-down gesture to access essential controls instead becomes a game of hide-and-seek with your settings.

Reddit users have been sharing their own tales of woe, with some describing how their Quick Panel constantly changes configuration on its own.

While some users report losing just a couple of toggles, others find themselves staring at completely empty Quick Panel spaces where their six preferred icons should be. WiFi, Bluetooth, sound controls, screen rotation, airplane mode, and flashlight toggles are among the most commonly affected shortcuts that decide to play disappearing tricks.

The good news? A fix is officially on the way. According to the company’s response on their Korean forums, users can expect an improvement patch to roll out through a September update.
