Users are reporting issues with iCloud Mail after updating to iOS 18.3.2. New emails are not being pushed to their devices automatically, requiring manual refreshes to see new messages. The problem started after the update rolled out last week, and people are voicing their frustrations on platforms like Reddit and the MacRumors forums.

One Reddit user, u/sundodger717, said: “I’m experiencing an issue with iCloud Mail on my iPhone after updating to iOS 18.3.2. New emails are not being pushed to my device, even though all the correct settings are enabled and it had been working fine on 18.3.1.” Another user, u/dimitri79, pointed out that push email from other services like Microsoft 365 works fine, hinting that this glitch is unique to iCloud Mail.

The lack of automatic updates is causing headaches for users who need instant email alerts for work or personal reasons. On the MacRumors forums, iammike1 wrote that they no longer get push notifications for iCloud Mail on their iPhone and iPad, forcing them to open the app manually to check messages. Some have tried fixes like restarting their devices or flipping push settings on and off, but nothing helps. Reddit user u/iRodknocker added: “I’ve restarted my iPhone like a dozen times. Turned push notifications off and on. Nothing works.”

As noted by MacRumors, both Push and Fetch features are failing for affected accounts, based on the complaints. A few users even mentioned similar problems with iOS 18.4.

With so many reports piling up, Apple is likely aware of the problem and working on a solution. Hopefully, a fix will come soon. For now, users stuck with this bug can manually refresh the Mail app to stay updated on new emails.
