Many Instagram users are reporting widespread issues with the platform’s “Following” feed feature. The main issue is that users are encountering a blank screen displaying “No Posts Yet” instead of their usual curated content from accounts they follow.

The problem appears to have surfaced earlier today, affecting users on both Android and iOS devices. When attempting to access the Following tab, which typically shows chronological posts from followed accounts, users are instead greeted with an empty feed or endless loading screens.

“It shows no post to me, reinstalling doesn’t fix it,” reported one Reddit user on the Instagram subreddit. Multiple users have attempted common troubleshooting methods including clearing cache, logging out and back in, and completely uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but none of these solutions have resolved the issue.

Some users are experiencing partial functionality, seeing only one or two old posts before receiving a message stating there are no new posts in the last 30 days, despite knowing they should have access to fresh content. Others report that the Following tab has disappeared entirely from their interface.

I was also able to replicate this bug on both Android and iOS devices. The Following feed either gets stuck on an endless loading screen or displays the “No Posts Yet” message, even for accounts that regularly post new content.

In some cases, the issue extends beyond just the Following feed, with some users reporting problems accessing their Favorites lists and difficulty loading profile pages. A few users have also noted changes to the app’s visual layout, including modifications to how likes, comments, and shares are displayed.

Instagram has not yet issued an official statement regarding the outage or provided an estimated timeline for when normal functionality will be restored. So for now, affected users will need to rely on Instagram’s main feed or wait for the company to address what appears to be a server-side technical issue affecting the Following feed.

Same for browser - clicking on Following redirects to a list of suggested accounts to follow.

Nice to see a story on this. Very frustrating. I only have two posts in my following feed, both from 17 hours ago. I'll never get caught back up at this rate.
