Earlier this month, Netflix announced a major UI overhaul. At that time the company said the “new Netflix TV experience is still the one you know and love — just better,” while sharing that new layout will start rolling out in the “coming weeks and months.”

Well, it appears the rollout has begun. While we aren’t seeing the new update on our TVs yet, there’s already a lot of noise on platforms like Reddit and X from those who are seeing the new UI, and I must tell you that the overall sentiment around the new layout I am seeing currently isn’t exactly positive.

Anyway, I am sharing a few of those posts below.

For comparison, this is how the UI looks at our end currently:

Of course, it’s a developing situation, so the overall sentiment might change as more and more users get the update and they actually start getting used to the new UI.

In case you missed the Netflix’s announcement about this UI update earlier, this is how the company had summarized the new change:

We wanted to create an experience that was more flexible for our broad entertainment offerings, more intuitive and responsive to our members’ needs, and capable of elevating the most thrilling moments on Netflix
