After a long wait, Samsung has finally shared some news about the availability of One UI 7. First, the company confirmed it’s expanding the One UI 7 Beta program to more devices this month. This move lets more people test the latest features before the official release hits.

Starting March 6, the beta program kicks off for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. It will be available in India, Korea, the UK, and the US. Later in March, the beta extends to other devices like the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and A55. Exact dates for this second wave aren’t set, but it’s likely around the third week. Want to join in? You can apply through the Samsung Members app.

And now for the news many Samsung fans have been waiting for. The official One UI 7 update arrives in April. It starts with the Galaxy S24 series. After that, it will roll out to other eligible devices. We already had a brief idea about this timeline, as it was leaked in a Zoom meeting. But now it’s no longer speculation.

So, what’s One UI 7 all about? It’s built on Android 15 and brings a fresh look to the interface. You’ll notice new features, better artificial intelligence, and smoother animations. Samsung is also adding advanced “AI agents” to the mix. These agents can handle multiple tasks and make using your device feel more natural.

For those who haven’t yet seen what One UI 7 is all about, I’d suggest checking out the video below:

For the Galaxy S23 series, this update is a big deal. Launched with Android 13, these phones already have some Galaxy AI features with One UI 6.1. Now, One UI 7 marks their second major upgrade.

Joining the beta lets you test these changes early and share feedback with Samsung. Just a heads up, beta software might have bugs. It could affect how your device runs, so back up your data first. Your input helps Samsung polish things for the official release.

That said, it’s still a bit disappointing to see Samsung promising to release a major OS update several months after it went live on other smartphones. In fact, Google even rolled out the Android 16 Beta 2.1 update a few days ago, and we will likely see the stable release happen in May or June.

As the beta rolls out and April nears, we’ll keep you posted on what’s next. Stay tuned for more One UI 7 news, including information on any bugs and issues that might pop-up!
