It looks like there’s currently something wrong with Meta’s Facebook. I am seeing many users of the social media service reporting about a weird “No posts available” issue. They say they are not able to see anything on their Facebook timeline. Scary, right? However, before you start thinking about the extreme scenario, what makes me feel it’s just a technical glitch is the fact that several among those facing this issue also say they are getting notifications that their posts are being liked, etc.

Apart from the error being reported, other observations shared by users aren’t really consistent. Anyway, I am sharing a few of those reports for better understanding of readers.

I just posted a new album on Facebook, and went to look at my page and everything is gone. However I’m getting notifications that people are liking my post, so it’s showing up in their newsfeeds, I just can’t see it on my own. I’ve tried looking at other people’s pages too, and for about 75% of them I can’t see anything either, but for 25% I can see everything. Is anyone else noticing this issue? My newsfeed appears unharmed, but clicking on most people’s profiles results in a message saying “no posts available”. (Source)

My entire timeline from the start of my FB page, until now shows as “no posts available” when i look through my PC’s browser. But i can see everything on my phone app, plus my activity log shows no signs of things being deleted.

Apart from the ones highlighted above, there are currently many other posts on Reddit about this problem. Additionally, I also see people reporting about the issue on Twitter/X as well.

At least one user told me that they are able to get their posts individually by clicking on the notifications.

yep mine have vanished… but can still view them from liked notifications (source)

Moving on, I also checked the DownDetector service to understand when the issue exactly started. And it appears the “No posts available” problem reared its ugly head less than a couple of hours ago. The following screenshot makes this amply clear with the graph showing a sudden spike in complaints around that time.

Sadly, I couldn’t find any workarounds shared by any one, which means, if you are also getting the “No posts available” error on your Facebook timeline, there is no other option but to wait. Of course, you can send a feedback to Meta/Facebook, as the more users will do it, the quicker the company may fix this bug. Also, needless to say, it’s a developing story, so it may get updated as and when I’ll find anything worth adding here.

Meanwhile, feel free to use the comments section at the bottom of this page to provide any useful information that you may want to share about this ongoing problem. Thanks in advance.
