Update 26/09/24 5:26 pm (IST): The devs have confirmed that they’ve fixed the problem.

Ranked is back online. TFT Mobile also received a fix to a critical bug, but the Dawn of Heroes Revival (live now on PC) will be turned back on for mobile in the next few hours. Thank you for your patience.

Original article published on September 26, 2024, follows:

Riot Games has acknowledged severe bugs affecting Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Mobile following the release of the “Dawn of Heroes Revival” update. In response, the company has temporarily disabled the Revival queue on mobile while actively working on a solution. The issues primarily involve performance problems, with many users reporting an inability to see their units on the board, making the game nearly unplayable.

The TFT team confirmed the situation on Twitter, stating: “TFT Mobile is currently experiencing critical bugs. We’ve disabled the Revival queue but we’re aware other modes are impacted. We’re actively working on a fix and will keep everyone updated.” This update followed an earlier post where Riot Games mentioned that while the update was live on PC, mobile users were facing serious performance issues.

The mobile player base has been vocal about the game’s issues, with many expressing frustration on X and Reddit. Players have reported being unable to see their units during matches, making gameplay difficult or impossible. One user on Reddit shared, “I had a great start but couldn’t see any of my units on the board on mobile.” Another added, “It makes it quite impossible to play when I don’t even know what is out there.”

One individual on X mentioned having to close and reopen the app after each round just to get a glimpse of their units. Others have shared similar experiences, with the frustration spreading across both ranked and casual game modes. A player said, “Really unfortunate bug on TFT mobile for hyper roll where I can’t see my units. I have 4 units on the bench as well.”

Many were also furious with the decision to keep ranked matches operational while the game is bugged. Luckily, it seems the devs have heard the feedback already and have just announced that they’ve disabled ranked matches across all platforms.

For now, PC players are still able to enjoy the “Dawn of Heroes Revival” update without these issues, but mobile players are left waiting for Riot to address the bugs. Many users have called for compensation for lost ranks and ruined games, while others are simply hoping the game will be playable again soon.

Riot Games has not yet provided an estimate for when the fixes will be rolled out, but with so many players affected, it’s likely that we’ll see a quick resolution.
