Some Pixel users on US Mobile are having issues with visual voicemail, with complaints popping up after the Android 15 update. Visual voicemail, which lets users see and manage voicemails in the Phone app, seems to be disappearing or becoming unresponsive for some. People say the voicemail tab shows up briefly after resetting the Phone app’s cache and storage, but it vanishes again shortly after. A user shared a screenshot for reference that you can check out below:

As you can see, there’s no visual voicemail tab. Many affected users are on US Mobile’s Warp and Dark Star plans. Judging by the reports, it seems like the problem might have something to do with a recent update to the Phone app. Some have mentioned that enabling features like call screening in the Phone app causes the visual voicemail to disable itself. Others reported that even without call screening, the feature randomly stops working after a reboot or when accessing the voicemail settings.

Several users have tried resetting their network settings, but the fix isn’t always permanent. In some cases, switching to older versions of the Phone app restores visual voicemail, but this workaround removes newer features, which isn’t ideal. A few users contacted both Google and US Mobile for help, but the responses haven’t offered lasting solutions. Some were advised to use third-party voicemail apps like YouMail, but these alternatives often come with their own limitations.

It’s worth noting that while a majority of reports claim the issue popped up after the Android 15 update, a few have confirmed that they’ve run into the same problem even on Android 14. This adds further weight to the possibility that the problem might be tied to the Phone app. In fact, a few months ago, Mint Mobile customers were also experiencing similar issues. That was resolved with an update to the Google Phone app.

So you might simply have to wait for Google to issue a new update for the Phone app that brings a fix for visual voicemail on US Mobile’s network. We’ll keep an eye out for any further developments and will update the article if there’s something worth sharing.
