Users across the United States are experiencing widespread internet outages today, with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile services among those hit. From coast to coast, social media is buzzing with frustrated users trying to troubleshoot their connections, only to discover it’s not just them. Downdetector shows thousands of reports, and the issue seems to be affecting multiple providers all at once.

One user, took to X saying, “I was wondering why my internet wasn’t working. Verizon Fios is down for the entire east coast.” It seems many Verizon users on the East Coast are feeling the impact. Another user shared their frustration with Verizon’s customer support, expressing disappointment with how the company is handling the outage.

The issues aren’t limited to Verizon; AT&T and T-Mobile users are also reporting problems. Apart from Downdetector, many users with other carriers have also pointed out that the internet outage is affecting them on X. At the moment, none of the carriers have issued an official statement regarding the unexpected outage.

Some users are even rethinking their internet provider choices. One user even tagged Elon Musk, asking if Starlink might be a better option. They called on the tech mogul to “help so many people to have a phone and shut down these BS phone hooligans (Verizon, AT&T, etc.).” Others are expressing similar thoughts, with some wondering if the outage might be linked to a larger event or even a cyber-attack.
