If you’ve recently checked your YouTube Studio dashboard and had a minor heart attack when seeing “0” views on your latest videos, take a deep breath — it’s not just you, and your hard-earned views haven’t disappeared.
On its community forum, YouTube officially confirmed a glitch that’s making new videos appear as though they’ve had zero views in YouTube Studio analytics and on the dashboard. It’s frustrating, but the good news is that all those views are safe and sound. YouTube assures creators that the actual view counts are still being tracked properly on the watch page and elsewhere — just not currently in the Studio.
The YouTube team is fully aware of this bug and is working hard behind the scenes to resolve it. They’ve acknowledged the glitch and promised to keep us all in the loop with updates.
So, if you’re obsessively refreshing your dashboard wondering why no one seems to be watching, don’t worry — it’s all just a temporary tech hiccup. Keep creating, keep sharing, and know that YouTube is on it.
