ChatGPT users are now asking AI to roast their Instagram feed

Move over self-deprecating humor – there’s a new roast master in town, and it’s powered by artificial intelligence. Instagram users are now turning to ChatGPT to deliver brutal, AI-generated takedowns of their carefully curated feeds, sparking a viral trend that’s equal parts hilarious and cringeworthy.

The concept isn’t entirely new, though. Last month, a similar AI bot called “Twitter Personality” by Wordware AI took X (formerly Twitter) by storm, dishing out savage burns based on users’ profiles. The bot’s popularity skyrocketed, with its founder recently celebrating a milestone of 3 million users in just eight days.

However, this explosive growth hasn’t been without its challenges. The bot’s current X scraping service, Api Dojo, is struggling to handle the massive influx of traffic. Moreover, the founder revealed that the bot is bleeding money, with their simple paywall only covering about 30% of costs.

But while Wordware AI grapples with its growing pains, ChatGPT has stepped into the spotlight, ready to roast Instagram feeds with its trademark blend of insight and snark. Users are prompting the AI to “roast my Instagram feed in one paragraph,” then sharing the results online for all to see (and cringe at).
